New Romney Town Council serves the residents of the Parish of New Romney. The Town Council's main role is to act in the interests of the parish and its residents by making decisions and recommendations that help to improve the local environment and the quality of life of local residents. The Council works in partnership with other organisations, as appropriate, including other tiers of Local Government as well as voluntary and community organisations.

*** NEW UPDATE - Please note that The below works for Wenhams Lane, Old Romney, have been extended. Works will be carried out with estimated completion by 12th April 2025. Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, we have been informed that it will be necessary to close part of Wenhams Lane, Old Romney, from 13th November 2023 with estimated completion by 4th February 2024. We have been informed that it has been necessary to close From Rye Road To Hook Wall, Brookland from 29th October 2024 for up to 21 days. The road is closed between the bridge and Clubbs Lane. Read More...
