New Romney Town Council serves the residents of the Parish of New Romney. The Town Council's main role is to act in the interests of the parish and its residents by making decisions and recommendations that help to improve the local environment and the quality of life of local residents. The Council works in partnership with other organisations, as appropriate, including other tiers of Local Government as well as voluntary and community organisations.

Lighting the Way for New Romney

A new beacon has today been installed on The Greens, at Littlestone. This replaces the one installed for the Queen Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee in 2002, which had succumbed to the vagaries of age and the weather. The bespoke new beacon, made of Stainless Steel by Cranbrook Iron, features plaques of the New Romney ship crest and the Cinque Ports crest on the fire basket.
