Works will be carried out from 19th March 2024, with estimated completion by 28th May 2024.

Lane, Old
Romney, have been postponed.
Works will be carried out from 22nd January 2024, with estimated completion by 3rd May 2024.
Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, we have been informed that it will be necessary to close part of Wenhams Lane, Old Romney, from 13th November 2023 with estimated completion by 4th February 2024.
Wenhams Lane, Old Romney, will be closed at the bridge. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A259 Rhee Wall, A259 Lydd Road, Five Vents Lane, Ashford Road, Ivychurch Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing bridge works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
