New Romney Town Council serves the residents of the Parish of New Romney. The Town Council's main role is to act in the interests of the parish and its residents by making decisions and recommendations that help to improve the local environment and the quality of life of local residents. The Council works in partnership with other organisations, as appropriate, including other tiers of Local Government as well as voluntary and community organisations.

We have been advised that a direct contact number for Citizens Advice has been set up to support residents that may struggle to apply online for the Pensioner Just Missing Out Scheme. The contact number is 0300 304 8003 (available Monday to Friday 0900-1700). There is still funding available to provide eligible residents with £200 towards energy, food, or both.
