Maude Community Hall

The Maude Community Hall, on the first floor of the main building, is a large light and airy room, with windows that overlook the sports pitches. It has underfloor heating, served by an air source heat pump, and cooled by a heat-exchange system. A Juliet balcony means that the large sliding windows can be opened safely. Added acoustic panels fixed on the ceiling mean that it is an ideal environment for concerts, parties, meetings, clubs and community events. It has a fitted kitchen with facilities to warm catered hot foods that have been prepared off-site or to prep buffets and cold foods on-site. The good sized serving hatch with space underneath allows the kitchen to become multi-use with a bar servery, which is ideal if a licensee is used for a pay bar or if a family simply wants to serve their own beverages at a family party.

The building is fully accessible with lift access to the main community hall and disabled toilet facilities.

The Maude Hall has a maximum capacity of 160 persons standing, 150 persons seated at tables, and 100 persons in an exhibition setting.

A modular stage is available on request, as is a PA system.

For weddings and formal functions a crockery, glassware and cutlery package for 150 covers is available for hire.
