Scam Updates

Kent Fraud Alert System have notified us of a phishing email scam, where fraudsters impersonate HM Courts and Tribunals and supposedly issue a penalty notice. This is a scam, please do not click on any links or pay any monies. You will never receive an email from HM Courts asking you to pay a fine in this way.
Some indications that this is a scam email are that it is not sent from a GOV.UK email address. Secondly, the email does not include any details of location or vehicle registration. The odd amounts (and expressed as GBP indicates sent from abroad) that have been requested. Finally, the contact number is marked as, “Temporarily unavailable.”
