Temporary Road Closure

A closure of part of Burmarsh Road, Dymchurch, is planned from Monday 11 January 2021, with estimated completion by 13 January 2021

Burmarsh Road will be closed between the junctions with Kingsway and Green Meadows, to the actual extent indicated on site.

~ There will be no direct access between Dymchurch and Burmarsh during these works ~

The alternative route for through traffic is A259 via Hythe Road, High Street, Eastbridge Road, Church Road and Thorndike Road back to Burmarsh Road.

The closure is to enable allow tree surgery and various telecoms cabling works to be carried out to be carried out by I & A Communications Ltd, working with BT Openreach.

Due to the nature of these works, it will not be possible to re-open the road outside the working hours.
