Weekly Local Covid-19 Update

WEEKLY LOCAL COVID-19 UPDATE:
KEEP FOLLOWING THE LOCKDOWN RULES TO KEEP PROTECTING YOURSELVES, YOUR FAMILIES, YOUR COMMUNITY, AND THE NHS!
This weeks statistics are so good to see! Thank you to all of you who have followed, and are continuing to follow the lockdown rules, and are playing your part in bringing down local cases of Covid-19. As you can see on the map, New Romney has dropped well below the national average now, and last week in New Romney, there were 3 confirmed cases which equates to 40.6 cases per 100,00 people (source: https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/interactive-map), a big drop on the previous few weeks.
Although the Prime Minister, yesterday, laid out the roadmap for coming out of lockdown, we must not get complacent and it is vital that we keep following the rules each step of the way. We are still, currently in full lockdown and we must all keep following the Lockdown regulations, https://www.gov.uk/.../national-lockdown-stay-at-homehowever, however hard we are finding it.
Remember HANDS - FACE - SPACE if you do have to go out.
Get tested if you have symptoms, and isolate.
Even if you are symptom free, do your bit, and get tested, if you leave the house for work or essential activities,

Vaccinations continue to be rolled out to designated groups - please follow the link if you receive a text message to book, and keep watching the news for details of further groups to be called.
