Temporary Road Closure – Caldecot Level Crossing, Lydd, Romney Marsh – Sunday 2 May 2021

It will be necessary to close Caldecot Level Crossing, Lydd, Romney Marsh, currently planned for Sunday 2 May 2021 between 8.00 am and approximately 4.00 pm.

Caldecott Lane will be fully closed in the general vicinity of Caldecot Level Crossing.

The alternative route for through traffic is via Dennes Lane, B2075 Station Road and Romney Road back to Caldecott Lane.

~ Please note that due to the nature of the works, there will be no through access for pedestrians, cyclists or equestrians during these works ~

The closure is to enable Network Rail to carry out level crossing maintenance and other associated works.

The planned dates and duration may change for various reasons including the current coronavirus situation and adverse weather conditions, with any changes signposted on site and notified locally.
