COULD YOU BE A KICKSTART EMPLOYER?

Published: 06 July 2021

What is Kickstart?

Kickstart placements are for 6 months.

They are for 16-24 year old Universal Credit customers.

National minimum wage for 25 hours per week is paid by the Government.

The Government will pay £1,500 to the employer to provide training and upskilling to each young person they give a Kickstart placement to.

The government will pay the National Insurance contribution and the employer minimum automatic contributions.
