Temporary Road Closure – St Mary’s Road, New Romney – from 31 August 2021 - 3 days
We have been informed that daytime closures of part of St Mary’s Road, New Romney are planned from Tuesday 31 August 2021 for up to 3 days, between 8.00 am and approximately 6.00 pm each day
St Mary’s Road will be closed in the general vicinity of the properties Redcroft / Summerfields, to the actual extent shown on site.
The alternative route for through traffic is via St Mary’s Road, A259 Dymchurch Road and Jefferstone Lane, and vice versa.
Local access to the remainder of St Mary’s Road continues from either direction up to where the road is actually closed.
The closure is to enable allow works to be carried out to replace a telecoms manhole frame and cover to be carried out by Kelly Communications, working with BT Openreach.
The planned dates and duration may change for various reasons including the current coronavirus situation and adverse weather conditions, with any changes signposted on site and notified locally.
