Town Mayor's Christmas Card competition

New Romney Town Mayor, Cllr. Paul Thomas invites all young people between the ages of 4 and 18 years to submit a design based on the theme “Christmas in New Romney”.

The Mayor said "I hope many of you will enter the competition to design a Christmas card for the town. This is a great opportunity for youngsters to showcase their artistic talents. I am looking forward to seeing your designs and being able to send them to other Mayors, important people and Councillors."

There will be a winner from each of the three age categories, 4-7; 8-11; 12-18 years. Each winner will receive a pack of their winning design to send to family and friends along with the original framed design, Certificate and a Voucher. The printed Christmas cards will be A5 size.

How to enter: 

 Make a colourful card on A4 paper/card. Draw, paint, or sketch - whatever you prefer to make your Christmas picture.

 Put your name, age, school & class on the back of your entry.

If you would like to take part, please submit your designs to your class teacher who will pass them to New Romney Town Council or send directly to the Town Hall. All shortlisted entries will be featured on the Council website.
