Temporary Overnight Road Closures – West Hythe Road & Lympne Hill, Folkestone – 8th - 10th November 2021

Overnight closures of sections of West Hythe Road and Lympne Hill, Folkestone are currently planned for Monday 8th November, Tuesday 9th November and Wednesday 10th November 2021 from 7.00 pm through until approximately 5.00 am.


West Hythe Road and Lympne Hill will be closed in phases, to the actual extent shown at any time.

The alternative route for through traffic is via West Hythe Road, Lower Wall Road, Botolph’s Bridge Road, A259 Dymchurch Road, A261 Scanlons Bridge, London Road, Hythe Road, A20 Ashford Road, Stone Street and Aldington Road.

Local access to the remainder of West Hythe Road and Lympne Hill will be maintained as much as possible up to where the road is actually closed.

The closures are to enable cabling works to be carried out to provide new telecoms connections being carried out by BT Openreach.

The planned dates and duration may change for various reasons, with any changes signposted on site and notified locally.
