Littlestone beachside project

Folkestone and Hythe District Council are proposing to create a new beachside destination at Coast Drive Car Park, Littlestone, and would love to hear local residents' views on the project.
The aim is to repeat the success of the renovation of the beach chalets along Marine Walk, Folkestone, which have hugely improved the attractiveness of that area. In addition they want to help boost the economy of the Romney Marsh.
The Littlestone project will include building 108 beach chalets and a new visitor hub. The hub will have information about the area’s wildlife and history so that visitors can both enjoy and care for the nearby Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Residents have until the 30 November 2021 to submit their views on the shaping of the project.
