The Romney Marsh Community Hub: Winter Support Fund helping those in financial difficulty this winter

If you, or someone you know, needs financial support this winter, the Romney Marsh Community Hub may be able to help.

The Winter Support Fund could help those living in the Romney Marsh finding it hard to afford food or energy costs. Anyone over the age of 16 can apply, regardless of whether they are on benefits or not, and the Hub can provide essential support by connecting those in need of financial assistance with the right people.

Jon Wilson is the CEO of the Romney Marsh Community Hub:

“The continuing pandemic and high costs of living are putting a huge financial strain on so many people and unfortunately this is likely to continue for the foreseeable future. The Winter Fund is there to help take some pressure off and help those who are at risk of struggling to keep up with the bills over the winter keep safe and well. I would urge anyone who feels that they are eligible for the fund to get in touch or visit our website and make an application in confidence.”

Those without internet access, or with no family member, friend or neighbour who can assist, or for more general information, telephone 01797 208590.

Applications are not guaranteed and are considered on an individual case-by-case basis.
All applications and enquiries are treated in complete confidence.
