Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

This year, the Queen will celebrate her Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service.

Here, at New Romney Town Council, plans are picking up pace to celebrate the Jubilee in New Romney, with both events and a commemorative tree planting. Watch this space for details over the coming weeks.

If you wish to hold your own street party to celebrate you can apply to close a road free of charge for up to one day from the 2 to 5 June 2022. Applications need to be in by 31st March 2022. Details on the KCC website.
