Urgent Road Closure

We have been informed that it has been necessary to close Wenhams Lane, Old Romney from 7th March 2022 for up to 2 days.

The road has been closed near the junction of Yoakes Bridge Lane.

The alternative route is via A259 Rhee Wall, Five Vents Lane, Ashford Road and Ivychurch Road.

This is to enable ground investigation works for future bridge strengthening works to be carried out by Kent County Council.
