UPDATE - Town Mayor's Christmas Card competition

How to enter: Make a colourful card on A4 paper/card. Draw, paint, or sketch - whatever you prefer to make your Christmas picture.
New Romney Town Mayor, Cllr. Paul Thomas invites all young people between the ages of 4 and 11 years to submit a design based on the theme “Christmas in New Romney”. The competition is open to all children who live in New Romney/Littlestone area. The Mayor said “Every year we send Christmas Cards to Kent Mayors, important people and local Councillors. I am so excited to be asking for your help in designing our New Romney Christmas Cards. We’re looking for festive New Romney scenes and we can’t wait to see your fabulous artwork.”
There will be a winner from each of the two age categories, 4-7 years (Reception/KS1) and 8-11 years (KS2). Each winner will receive a pack of their winning design to send to family and friends, along with the original framed design, Certificate and a Voucher. The printed Christmas cards will be A5 size.
Closing date – Friday 25th November 2022
Put your name, age, school & class on the back of your entry
If you would like to take part, please submit your designs to your class teacher who will pass them to New Romney Town Council or send directly to the Town Hall. All shortlisted entries will be featured on the Town Council website.
