Temporary Road Closures

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, we have been informed that it will be necessary to close part of A259 Hythe Road, Dymchurch, from 5th October 2023 with estimated completion by 19th October 2023.

A259 Hythe Road, Dymchurch, will be closed from Chapel Lane to Burmarsh Road, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A259 Dymchurch Road, A259 Scanlons Bridge, A261 London Road, A261 Hythe Road, A20 Ashford Road, A20 Barrow Hill, A20 Main Road, A20 Hythe Road, A2070 Link Road between junction 10A M20 to A2070, A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road, A2070 Bad Munstereifel Westbound Off, A2070 Hamstreet Bypass, A2070 Ashford Road, A2070 From Ashford Road to District Boundary, A259 Rhee Wall, A259 Lydd Road, A259 High Street, A259 Dymchurch Road, A259 High Street and vice versa.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing resurfacing works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
