New Romney Town Council Publishes Strategic Plan

NEW ROMNEY TOWN COUNCIL has developed and adopted its first ever Strategic Plan.

The Strategic Plan 2023-2027 describes the Council’s vision for the current four-year term of office, what it is trying to achieve and what its key objectives and priorities are between now and May 2027.

This new initiative for the Town Council, is the result of a focussed workshop involving Council Members, who were able to share their ideas for the Council’s priorities based on their understanding of what local residents want, need or are concerned about – understanding gleaned from direct conversations and communications as well as local social media posts.

The Strategic Plan explains clearly to Councillors, staff, residents, businesses and other local organisations exactly what the Council aims to achieve for the benefit of the Town and its residents between now and the next election. New Romney Town Council is an ambitious Council and its Members are all committed to helping make the Town of New Romney, which includes Littlestone and Greatstone, a better place to live, work and visit. This document will help the Council continue to focus on delivering excellent, value for money services for the Town and its residents.
