Temporary Road Closures

This is just a short but very important message regarding the funeral of Mrs Frances Wire, the former Mayoress of New Romney, and chair of the New Romney Country Fayre.

New Romney High Street will be closed TODAY (Monday 15th January) for approximately 10-15 minutes whilst the funeral procession makes it way from Fairfield Road/Ashford Road junction across the high street and into Church Approach, the timings for this are expected to be 11:10-11:25.

Thank you in advance for either avoiding the high street at this time or taking a diversion route.
