Temporary Road Closures

Due to works planned to be undertaken by SGN, It will be necessary to close in 2 phases part of The Parade & Coast Drive, Greatstone, from 8th April 2024 with estimated completion by 26th July 2024.

Phase 1 - The Parade will be closed from number 172 to Coast Drive, from 8th April 2024, with estimated completion by 26th July 2024. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Phase 2 - Coast Drive will be closed from number 173 to The Parade, from 17th June 2024, with estimated completion by 26th July 2024. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Parade, Coast Drive, Grand Parade, B2071 Littlestone Road, B2071 Station Road, A259 High Street, A259 Lydd Road, B2075 Romney Road, B2075 Station Road, Harden Road, Dungeness Road, Battery Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while allow gas works to be carried out, works are undertaken by SGN.
