Did you witness this?

Yesterday evening, someone or, more probably, a group of people decided that it would be fun to 'decorate' the Teenage Shelter on the Fairfield Road recreation ground. They ripped branches, including a very large one, from the nearby Elder Tree, and stuffed them into, and on top of, the shelter, and managed to topple a litter bin, complete with it's fixings. This will cost time and money to repair and clear up.

It has been reported by New Romney Town Council to Kent Police, but if you have any further information, if you saw or heard anything, please contact either Kent Police on 101 or My Community Voice, or New Romney Town Council.

REMEMBER if you witness a crime, including vandalism and antisocial behaviour, this should be reported to the Kent Police on 101.
