Temporary Road Closures - update

Please note – The below works for Tillery
Lane, Brookland, have changed.
Works will be carried out in 2 phases.
Phase 1 – Works will be carried out between the hours of 23:15 and 05:15 only, from 3rd September 2024, with estimated completion by 4th September 2024.
Phase 2 – Works will be carried out between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 only, from 20th October 2024, with estimated completion by 20th October 2024.
Due to works planned to be undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, we have been informed that it will be necessary to close part of Tillery Lane, Brookland, from 3rd September 2024 with estimated completion by 5th September 2024.
Tillery Lane, Brookland, will be closed at the level crossing, between the hours of 23:00 and 06:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Tillery Lane, A259 Rhee Wall, Tickners Lane, Barnhouse Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing rail works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
