Temporary Road Closures

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, it will be necessary to close part of B2080 Station Road, Appledore from 19th February 2025, with estimated completion by 21st February 2025, between the hours of 23:15 and 05:30.

The road will be closed 20m either side of Appledore level crossing, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2080 Station Road, Rhee Wall Road, Brenzett Corner Roundabout, Rhee Wall, A259 J A2070/B2080 Roundabout, Rhee Wall Roundabout, A2070 Rhee Wall To Ashford Road, A2070 From J A2070/B2080 Roundabout To J A2042, A2070 From Ashford Road To District Boundary, B2067 Ashford Road, Hamstreet Bypass, Ashford Road Junction With Bypass Link Road To Hamstreet, B2067 Warehorne Road, Kenardington Road, D1305 11 Acre Wood Lane Junction With B2067 To D1291 Junction With D1305 11 Acre Wood Lane, Brook Street, Woodchurch Road, B2080 Appledore Road, Reading Street, Tenterden Road, The Street and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
