Emergency Road Closure

It has been necessary to close Wheelsgate Lane, Old Romney from 5th February 2025 for up to 3 days.

The road has been closed at 2 Elm Fields, Wheelsgate Lane, Old Romney.

The alternative route is via Wheelsgate Lane, Beggarsbush Lane, Midley Wall and Swamp Road.

This is to enable water pipe repairs to be carried out by South East Water.
