Urgent Speed Limit Reduction

Kent County Council gives notice that for the safety of the public and workforce during roadworks, a temporary mandatory speed limit of 30 MPH will be imposed on a section of Dungeness Road, Lydd.

The 30 MPH applies in both directions on Dungeness Road, Lydd between at the junctions of Dungeness Road Roundabout and Greenfields, to the extent indicated by signage clearly displayed on site.

This takes effect on 25th March 2025 for up to 1 day. The restrictions will be lifted as soon as works are completed and it is safe to do so.

The restrictions have been introduced for the safety of the public and workforce whilst carriageway patching are to be carried out by Kent County Council.

This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.
