Emergency Road Closure

We have been informed that it has been necessary to close West Hythe Road, West Hythe from 19th May 2025 for up to 2 days.
The road is closed between 'Quince Tree Cottage' and the junction with Lympne Hill.
The alternative route is via The alternative route Southbound is via Lympne Hill, Aldington Road, C564 From Lympne Town Boundary To A261 London Road, A261 Hythe Road, A261 London Road, A259 Military Road, Red Lion Square, A259 Dymchurch Road, Botolph's Bridge Road, Lower Wall Road and West Hythe Road.
The alternative route Northbound is via West Hythe Road, Lower Wall Road, Botolph's Bridge Road, A259 Dymchurch Road, A259 Scanlons Bridge Road, A261 London Road, A261 Hythe Road, C564 From Lympne Town Boundary to A261 London Road, Aldington Road and Lympne Hill.
This is to enable low voltage cable repairs to be carried out by UK Power Networks.
