Come and Join the Christmas Celebration!

New Romney Town Council is pleased to announce that, once again, there is to be a Town Christmas Concert to be held at St Nicholas Church, New Romney, on Saturday 13th December 2024. This is a FREE concert for all residents and visitors to New Romney, Littlestone and Greatstone, and the local area. The Town Council are excited to reveal that the City of Canterbury Band will be performing seasonal and much loved musical pieces, and there will even be a chance to join in with some of your favourite carols

Entrance to this evening concert is free, however donations to the Mayor of New Romney's Charity Funds will be welcomed. This year the Mayor is collecting for 'With Grace’ a charity formed in loving memory of Grace Ann King. Their aim is to help local young people struggling with their mental health by funding training for teachers/TA's to be Mental Health First Aiders. This will mean young people have access to help when they need it, preventing things reaching crisis point. Also ‘Last Chance Animal Rescue’ which is dedicated to rescuing needy dogs and cats. Taking many from the local area they treat each animal as if it were their own. Providing veterinary care, warmth, good quality food and of course lots of TLC, before finding them new forever homes. Light refreshments will be available, and a raffle will be held.
