Emergency Road Closure

It has been necessary to close Norwood lane, Newchurch from 6th January 2026 for up to 21 days.

The road is closed between Willow Farm and North Fording.

The alternative route is via Norwood Lane, Newchurch Lane, From Newchurch to junction with Newchurch Road Bilsington and Hony wood Lane, From St Mary's Road to Newchurch Lane, Pickneybush Lane, Lane from junction with Turngate Cottage to Hope Lane and Chittenden Lane.

This is to enable carriageway repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council.
