New Romney Annual Town Meeting – Exciting New Format and Venue for 2026!

Come and join in with the New Romney Annual Town meeting, on Tuesday 21st April 2026, in the new Maude Community Centre, Station Road, New Romney TN28 8LQ.
This year, the Meeting will be of a new, more modern approach, promoting all the good work that goes on behind the scenes to make New Romney a welcoming place to live, work and visit and to support its local residents in a variety of ways.
The main part of the meeting will be one or two items of formal business, interspersed with a mix of informative presentations and Pride of New Romney Awards as well as presentation of the Mayor’s Charity funding cheques.
There will then follow a ‘marketplace’ session of question time and meet and greet, at which time residents will be able to ask questions of the Council/Councillors on a one to one basis, as well as representatives from a range of local organisations, find out what support is available and/or what activities are on offer – all over a cuppa and a biscuit!
