Community Easter Activity

Published: 26 March 2021

This year New Romney Community Church wanted to give people an opportunity to engage in the real meaning of Easter by organising an Easter Trail around New Romney and Littlestone. You will find attached a sheet with the map and pictures of crosses on it. The idea is to print off the sheet, (hard copies are available from the church office) and visit each location, preferably on foot and identify which cross is at that location and mark it on the sheet. There are twelve crosses to spot, a bit like twelve stations of the cross that some churches have at Easter. As you go around looking for the crosses spend time reflecting on the meaning of Easter. The crosses will be on display either in front windows or front gardens from first thing on Sunday 28th March (Palm Sunday) until Monday 5th April (Easter Monday) .

If doing the whole trail is too much for you to do in one go, do it in sections. There is no start and finish point, start wherever is convenient for you.

Please observe all social distancing guidelines as you do the trail and do not enter property unless invited to do so.
